Intersil (India) Private Limited was established in 1979
as a technical and financial collaboration between General Electric (GE) and the Mehra family in Bombay, India. This business was engaged in the assembly and test of semiconductors namely Metal. Can and P-DIP devices and provided services to GE/Harris/Intersil for almost 3 decades.

In the course of this business,the Intersil (India)
Group diversified into software and realestate development.Intersil's Joint Venture with NCR involved the production and distribution of ATM machines in India in the early 1980's. This venture also entailed application development for banking software and sale of both ATM's and related software products to multinational banks like ABN-AMRO and Standard Chartered in India.Tha family's stake was divested in 1994.

In 2004 , Intersil (India)
entered into a software development agreement with TigerStop LLC USA . TigerStop is the market leader in the precision measurement space in the United States and
Europe. We have a contract to provide them with $1 million dollars of services on various project over the next few years.

In addition, Intersil (India)
has recently added a large Pharmacy operator in Oklahoma as a client. We have contracted with Omega Care of Oklahoma to provide porting services, application development and interfacing development skills to better serve the need of their clients.
